Skillbridge Intern - Human Resources

Contributions

As a member of the Human Resources team you will be a champion of culture and creating a strong partnership across the business and helping to drive great employee experience through the people of the organization. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuously changing priorities is a huge plus. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with training and development initiatives.
• Reply to inquiries from internal customers via phone and/or email in a timely manner
• Assist with maintenance of internal HR systems and prepare HR-related reports as needed.
• Maintain employee files and records electronically.
• Assists in the preparation and delivery of presentations and reports for managers and employees on a variety of HR related topics.
• Provide assistance on payroll-related processes and projects
• Be proactive; actively engage with cross-functional teams, provide ongoing status of HR processes and projects
• Provide support to People Team and it's customers across the organization
• Assist with administrative duties as needed by the HR team and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Assists with other assignments and/or special projects as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active Duty Military
• Is within 180 days of separation or retirement
• Has received Unit Commander approval to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program
• Bachelor's Degree
• Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, complex, and deadline-oriented environment.
• Must be results oriented and have the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in project management
