As an Equipment Operator at Steed Metals, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment used in our scrap metal recycling operations. Key Responsibilities
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators, forklift trucks, balers, and cranes, to process and transport scrap metal materials.
- Load Handling: Efficiently load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and placement to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reporting any mechanical issues or repairs needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines while operating equipment, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and your team members.
- Working with Team: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding equipment needs and workflow.

Qualifications
