Outside Sales Account Executive

Steel City Media is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Outside Sales Account Managers to grow our Sales Department. Individuals with a proven sales track record are preferred.

As a member of the sales team, the Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue from campaigns related to media advertising and marketing, via broadcast and digital revenue streams. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the revenue goals for the company.

Qualifications:

• 2 year(s) of outside sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience or education in digital marketing, media, business, or related field
• Excellent public relations skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including presentation, organization, interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of innovation.
• High level of energy, detailed oriented, analytical, and creative minded

Responsibilities:

• Develop client relationships, contact key accounts, develop new business, and manage accounts at various stages in the sales cycle.
• Provide weekly sales projections, account updates, collections and forecasting of future advertising.
• Research, analyze and monitor competitive media for new leads.
• Expand local sales in the Pittsburgh market and beyond by presenting advertisers with ideas relating to media advertising including but not limited to: Social Media, Email, Radio, Events, Programmatic Linear TV (PLTV), Digital Out of Home (DOOH), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), CTV/OTT, and emerging technologies.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with direct advertisers, media buyers and advertising agencies.
• Use an omnichannel approach to fulfill the needs of the client.
• Manage, monitor, and communicate advertising progress to internal and external parties.
• Analyze campaign performance and make suggestions for optimization.
• Continue to learn trends, terminology, and standards specific to the digital and broadcast industries.
