Essential functions:
- Interpret Cad drawings and solid models
- Generate documentation for set up sheets, programs, inspection reports and offline work sheets
- Generate and post tool paths with CAM software
- Download programs and MDI (Manual Data Input) as needed
- Setup and machine to the proper programs and tolerances required
- Recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and make adjustments as needed to achieve the best possible results
- Maintain appropriate tools and keep current on calibration
- Keep work area clean
- Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management
- Regular attendance at work during scheduled work hours
- Employees may be requested to perform other job functions as required
- Operate overhead cranes
- Experience with 3 axis mills
- A well rounded knowledge of cutters and inserts, and feeds/speeds
- Candidate must have high school or equivalent education
- Candidate must have valid driver’s license
- Two years of machining experience
- Two years programming experience using a Cam software
- Experience with multi axis mills and probing
- Five years of machining experience
- Five years programming experience using Fusion 360 or similar Cam software
Physical demands:
- Candidate must have full use of all limbs
- Candidate must be able to read and speak English
- Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds
