Responsibilities
- Responding to staff requests for support followed up with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solutions.
- Developing reports and dashboards to help our departments make informed decisions.
- Documenting solutions and tracking projects using a project management tool.
- Developing plans for more efficient ways to handle common issues.
- Handling logical access requests through our various software systems.
- Ensuring compliance with ITGC SOX standards and control maps.
- Coaching and mentoring a team of 4 direct reports.
- Planning and executing scheduled maintenance and upgrades
Qualifications
Vulcan Steel Products is looking for a candidate that has a 4 year degree in technology (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, etc.), at least 5 years of experience with ERP systems, and shows a history of process improvement and problem solving. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb prioritization and time management skills, and a positive “we’ll find a way” attitude, as working with our employees to find solutions is a chief responsibility. Software development and database experience are required. The ability to lift up-to 50 lbs on an infrequent basis is also a consideration.
