What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner and Cashier position at Steel Hands Brewing?
The Food Runner and Cashier positions at Steel Hands Brewing is an essential part of operations in our award-winning high-volume taproom and production brewery. Base Pay is $2.50/hour tips (ranging from $8.00-$25.00/hour on top of base pay)
The Food Runner position enhances our overall guest experience by:
- Ensuring food items get from the kitchen to the guests table accurately and efficiently while maintaining top-of-line customer service. Guest interaction and service industry professionalism are a must.
- Maintaining a clean and organized taproom and kitchen in a very high volume setting.
- Assist managers and kitchen staff with logistics and preparation for our in-house catering before, during, and after events.
- Assist managers and kitchen staff with preparing in-house sauces and quick service food items.
- Take orders from customers and be knowledgable of the food menu.
Requirements:
- Must be highly motivated, self-driven, and able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Food Runner and Cashier team members spend the entirety of the shift on their feet.
- Previous restaurant and customer service experience is highly preferred.
