As a key member of our drafting department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality customer approval drawings, permit drawings, and anchor bolt layout drawings on time.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of metal building construction and fabrication, as well as advanced skills in AutoCAD, Tekla, and MBS software. You will be responsible for reviewing incoming jobs, identifying issues, and communicating with the engineering and drafting lead to resolve them. Additionally, you will ensure that building designs follow dealer requests and governing codes/specs, and that all parts of the building are functional and have no interferences.
As a Construction Specialist, you will model jobs, draft approval drawings, and review them for accuracy. You will also help with lower complexity jobs as demand requires, assist in training drafter I and II, and provide effective guidance to junior staff members. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural drawings and specifications, steel tech quality standards, and Microsoft Office Suite and Google Software.
