What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Processor position at Steelcon LLC?
Position MPR-1: Material Processor 1
Pay: $19-$21 hr. depending upon experience. Eligible for first wage increase at initial review at 45 days.
**$300-400 MONTHLY ATTENDANCE BONUS (when requirements are met) **
Work Schedule: 40-55 hr./week depending on workload, Monday-Saturday. The Hodge Companies have a flex time policy that allows employees flexibility in meeting weekly hour requirements.
Travel Requirements: No
Benefits (after probation period): Medical/dental/vision/life insurance. Vacation, holiday, and sick pay. Monthly attendance, performance bonuses, quarterly Company profit sharing, and 401k matching.
Miscellaneous: Plenty of room for advancement-growth.
General Requirements:
1. Dependable, team player
2. OSHA 10 Hour
3. Provide all hand tools required for position.
4. Willing and able to work up to 55 hours per week when needed.
5. Lift up to 50 pounds
6. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
7. Basic computer/tablet knowledge
8. High School Degree or GED
Job Duties:
1. Load/program steel band saws.
2. Bevel and thread pipe
3. Punch-Notch-Cope structural shapes
4. Transport material via overhead cranes to processing equipment, then to work cells.
Educational/Technical Requirements:
1. Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Word
