Bills insurance companies for Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Regence and Commercial insurances for patients with last names beginning with letters A thru G. Pursue collection of all claims till payment is made by insurance companies. Performs other work associated with the billing process. Responsible for timely billing functions for all insurances including electronic claims filing, secondary filing and corrected claims. Responsible for denial tracking and reporting
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
