Steeler, Inc. is a manufacturer of steel framing and a distributor of drywall and construction supplies. We are currently seeking an energetic, hard-working Yard Specialist to facilitate organization of materials and to support our Tacoma branch.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be prompt and detail oriented. We are looking for a dependable person who can get the job done, pulling will call orders for customers and staging for deliveries while keeping the yard and warehouse clean.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Pulling will call orders for customers
- Organize and maintain will call records
- Verify every load
- Keep yard and warehouse clean and organized
- Job duties are primarily outside in an open yard with overhung outdoor storage, job is exposed to weather elements on a daily basis.
Job Qualifications:
** Proficient in the safe operation of a Forklift Required** (1-3 years)
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently
- Construction background preferred
- Computer experience including MS Office preferred
- MUST be able to pass a drug test and background check
