Job Summary:
Steelworx Industrial Group, LLC. is seeking an Industrial Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Project Manager must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time and will oversee and supervise employees within the electrical division. Additionally, the position interacts daily with coworkers, management, third-party vendors, and customers within Industrial Facilities.
The Industrial Electrical Project Manager plays a crucial role in identifying project goals, objectives, and scope. Their responsibilities include creating a comprehensive project plan that outlines necessary tasks, timelines, and resource allocation to meet both company and customer expectations. The Project Manager collaborates closely with the Electrical Division Manager, bidding on new projects, coordinating manpower and materials, and ensuring day-to-day project execution.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute multiple industrial construction projects, including those in Food Processing, Packaged Goods, Oil and Gas, etc.
- Develop and implement project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage logistics, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, cash flow, material procurement, subcontractor procurement, estimating, change orders, RFIs, submittals, owner meetings, invoicing, reporting, and negotiating.
- Ensure effective execution of projects from start to finish, thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Continuously engage with customers to meet and exceed expectations.
- Adapt operational strategies to meet construction deadlines.
- Develop and adhere to project budgets, timelines, and quality control plans.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations, building codes, and safety protocols.
- Utilize scheduling software for progress tracking and documentation.
- Exhibit exemplary attendance and adherence to company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Manage files in the server and Procore.
- Pull permits for various projects.
- Handle monthly MSLRs (Monthly Status and Labor Reports).
- Prepare billing statements after review by Andy.
- Coordinate non-company related equipment and storage rentals.
- Set and maintain geo-fencing for projects.
- Weekly review of time with on-site foremen to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and ensure daily logs are completed on a daily basis.
- Manage the submittal process for new projects.
- Handle Master Service Agreements when working with subcontractors.
- Build and maintain project schedules in Procore.
- Track material shipments and organize the receiving of materials.
Education & Skill Requirements:
- Must be a Licensed Electrician in the state of Arkansas.
- 4 years of industrial electrical construction experience.
- 5 years of on-site execution of industrial electrical projects.
- Knowledge of Industrial Plant logistics and operating schedules.
- Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time.
