Job Title: Project Manager (79301)
Location: Onsite, Austin, TX

A state-level agency is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee critical technology initiatives, including vendor coordination, procurement documentation, and implementation of cloud-based and enterprise solutions. This position plays a central role in guiding project execution in accordance with Texas Project Delivery Framework (TPDF) and Data Center Services (DCS) standards. The selected candidate will manage deliverables, business analysis, documentation, and cross-functional teams across complex, multi-year projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and managing all aspects of large, complex, enterprise-scale technology projects

• Overseeing vendor relationships and deliverable review processes

• Documenting system requirements, business process maps, and improvement recommendations

• Coordinating scope, timeline, resources, budget, and quality controls

• Developing solicitations including RFOs, RFIs, and Statements of Work

• Gathering requirements across multiple program areas and geographically dispersed stakeholders

• Facilitating stakeholder communication and resolving roadblocks

• Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring deliverables meet business and technical needs

What You Bring to the Table

• 8 years of experience managing complex IT projects from initiation through closeout

• Strong understanding of structured project methodologies, risk mitigation, and process reengineering

• Hands-on experience with Texas state agencies as a contractor or employee in a project leadership role

• Proven ability to develop detailed business and technical requirements

• Experience with DIR Data Center Services and cloud solution implementations

• 5 years of experience authoring government procurement documents (e.g., RFO, SOW)

• Experience coordinating requirements from multiple business units or locations

• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
