What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dental Assistant position at Steiner Dental?
Steiner Dental is a doctor-owned, private practice, looking for an energetic and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant! We are excited to find the perfect fit for our RDA position. We are looking for a dental assistant with a great attitude, a strong willingness to learn and be trained. You should be well organized, have strong attention to detail and be able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
We provide patient care Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. This position would require clinical skill sets and high end patient experience. We would like to offer you a dental home with a fun and friendly atmosphere.
At Steiner Dental, patient experience is our top priority right alongside our company culture. Our Registered Dental Assistant is responsible for:
- Educating patients about their oral health
- Assist dentist with dental procedures such as (fillings, crown preparations, crown seats, full cosmetic procedures, implants and extractions)
- Must be able to take FMX and free hand x-rays
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Keep sterilization room clean and well-stocked
- Provide compassion and understanding to all patients
- Coordinate accepted treatment and lab cases
- Maintain an office that is stocked with supplies and products needed to make days run seamlessly
- Be familiar with compliance tasks and do them weekly
- Strong sense of ownership
- Interacting with patients in a positive professional manner
- Assisting the whole team in communicating patient care
- Most importantly, have fun while serving our community
- Candidates must possess a current Registered Dental Assisting License in the State of Texas, have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be passionate about oral health and people!
