Job Summary: This position provides directions to laborers, machine operators, material handlers, technicians, other production personnel, and performs production tasks. Hours are 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Essential Functions:
- Sets up and operates all equipment for the department.
- Completes general labor and machine operations tasks.
- Marks and controls workflow; monitors employee pace and coaches through any errors in a professional manner.
- Ensures proper machine operations.
- Completes necessary paperwork pertaining to the department.
- Ensures proper packaging/labeling/dating and corrects discrepancies.
- Monitors and meets established operating, safety, PPE, quality standards; as well as policies, procedures, and GMPs.
- Checks tasks and follow-ups with the assignments.
- Ensures that material is available in area.
- Communicates with coworkers professionally and promotes teamwork in a positive environment
- Trains cross-functionally to gain working knowledge of other areas.
- Trains/enforces GMPs and other company policies/procedures.
- Coach and engage production staff to understand and align with company culture and achieve company objectives.
- Tracks all materials being used for production.
- Produces accurate documentation.
- Works scheduled hours and overtime as required.

Requirements
Qualifications:

- Minimum of experience in leadership roles is preferred.
- Experience in production processes and production equipment.
- Experience in supporting coaching and training in production areas.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer knowledge: previous Microsoft Office experience and awareness of inventory management programs preferred.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, read, comprehend, and carry out instructions.
- Able to complete and pass safety trainings.
- Must be able to communicate with the team.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Environmental Conditions:
- Constant exposure to temperatures as low as 45 degrees above and/or below. Occasional exposure to temperature below -10 degrees
- Exposure to small amounts of diluted cleaning chemicals
- May work in a damp and wet environment daily
Physical Requirements:
- Required standing for long periods of time and moving throughout the assigned area
- Performs continuous repetitive motions
- Ability to grasp production items
- Ability to move items from/to below the waist and/or above shoulder level
- Continuous lifting/carrying product up to 50 pounds
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times on the production floor
