This role is key to supporting Mercy’s philanthropic and community initiatives, especially as we celebrate our 150th anniversary with the We Are 150 campaign. We’re seeking someone eager to dive in, roll up their sleeves, and assist our Director in driving a dynamic, impactful program. Responsibilities Corporate Philanthropy Support : Assist in implementing fundraising strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate donors aligned with Mercy Medical Center's mission. Coordinate administrative processes for the Corporate Partners Program, ensuring accurate tracking of sponsorship deliverables and maintaining detailed records. Support corporate sponsorship efforts for Mercy events, ensuring seamless execution and fostering strong relationships with donors. Community Engagement : Collaborate on community initiatives tied to We Are 150, helping organize events and activities to celebrate our anniversary. Assist with volunteer opportunities and coordinate initiatives to support the neighborhoods we serve. Engage employees, donors, and volunteers in the We Are 150 Volunteer Initiative, encouraging acts of service and community involvement. AIM Network : Support the AIM Network, a group of young professionals passionate about Mercy’s mission and community engagement. Help organize professional development and volunteer events to deepen connections among AIM Network members. Why Join Mercy? Requirements Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in fundraising, corporate relations, event planning, or community engagement (experience is helpful but not necessary!). Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail. Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with corporate sponsorships or community engagement programs. Familiarity with healthcare philanthropy or volunteer management.
