Salary range : $65,000 - $75,000 DoE

Responsibilities :

• Review purchase orders, receiving reports and vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices.
• Maintain accurate records and control reports.
• Responsible for preparing the accounts payable register and related reports.
• Coordinate cash disbursements to ensure prompt payment of invoices.
• Responsible for preparing the accounts receivable register and related reports.
• Cash receipts application and tracking of customer invoice payment status.
• Gather financial information to prepare GJE and AJE.
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial package and inputs into reporting system.
• Gather information and prepare various audits and government surveys.
• Responsible for monthly detailed analysis of major GL accounts.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash forecasts and reconciliations.
• Support costing and EAC process.
• Demonstrate initiative and a significant amount of judgment, making correct account adjustments and allocations.
• Analyze accounting documents for accuracy, investigating questionable data and taking corrective action when necessary.
• Assist in preparation of financial reports and analysis.
• Crosstrain within the department.
• Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.
