Position Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our growing organization and help manage Stellantis Financial Services, US procurement needs. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for researching new vendors, building vendor relationships, preparing proposals, issuing purchase orders and negotiating agreements with vendors. The Procurement Specialist will play a partnering role with internal leaders to understand the needs of our organization and ensure Stellantis Financial Services, US goals are achieved in a timely manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals and request quotes for products and services.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
- Assist with vendor contract negotiations.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
- Analyze industry and demand trends.
- Support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
- Research and identify prospective vendors and resolve any current vendor issues.
- Evaluate products and services according to key business criteria.
- Reconcile accounts payable invoices with purchase orders, agreements and contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement department.
- Enter data into procurement and contract system.
- Act as liaison between internal customers, project teams
- Prepares ad hoc and other reports as directed by management.
- Acts as liaison between vendors and company to resolve contractual and operational issues.
- Assists with special projects and training of other associates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- 1 year minimum of related procurement, accounting, or finance experience.
- Bachelor’s or four (4) year college degree in Business, Finance, Sourcing, or Accounting.
- Proficient with using Microsoft Office Suite applications, such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Exhibit strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively while prioritizing tasks efficiently.

- Solid understanding and adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines is essential.
- Overtime required – required on an as needed basis.
- Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
- Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to the Dallas, Tx area.
- Knowledge of accounting, accounts payable or finance is highly preferred.
- Prior customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous clerical or administrative experience is a plus!
