Stellar Innovations & Solutions Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Visitor Control Specialist to support the Air Force On-Base at Wright-Patterson, AFB in Dayton, OH.

Job Summary:

• Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically.
• May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.

Primary Duties:

• Provides Visitor Control support to include creating contractor badges and collecting fingerprints, maintaining safe and door combinations, validating and controlling access to restricted areas/SCIFs, distributing and managing classified courier training, arming and disarming classified spaces, maintaining visitor logs, and controlling issuance and destruction of all media entering and exiting SAPF areas.
• Provides manning the front desk, opening / closing the building, accepting deliveries, checking IDs, providing visitor badges, arranging for escort, and occasionally provides escort services.
• Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
• Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
• Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
• Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Secondary Duties:

• Initial point of contact for all visitors to the building.
• Vetting and issuing of visitor badges to qualified building guests.
• Processing requests for building access, by both visitors and in-house personnel.
• Maintaining database in SharePoint of Building Badge Worksheets, to include Visitor Roster spreadsheet.
• Maintain annual training and adhere to PII safeguarding protocols.
• Create, deactivate, and destroy building access badges for in-house personnel, as needed.
• Perform quarterly and ad hoc building badge audits reports, using the Access Control System.
• Primary Base Mail ADO representative, sending and receiving “official” mail and packages.
• Maintain Yearly Mail ADO training.
• Provide guest entry assistance for high-level Distinguished Visitor meetings.
• Assist in giving directions to personnel entering the building for SPIR token creation.
• Perform Opening and Closing security procedures for the building.
• Maintain list of activities performed, monthly submission for Monthly Status Report.

Requirements:

• 3 years of similar experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office Products.
• MUST have a current / active DoD SECRET or higher Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is Mandatory.
