We have an opening for Datawarehouse Architect
Mode of Interview : Webcam / In Person
Work Location : Lansing, MI
Work Arrangement : Hybrid

Candidate must have 5 years of Experience
- Responsible for complex Linux security model on DW ETL servers. (Servers are administered by another group, but our team is responsible for the security structure and authorizes user access to the groups and sudos)
- Responsible for Teradata security and access.
- Responsible for complex Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure current and reliable data is available for critical business processes and decision making.
- Responsible for Data Warehouse change management infrastructure and all promotions of code and ddl; performing build engineer tasks for both manual and automated promotion processes.
- Responsible for migrating the three separate MDHHS DWs supporting four MDHHS Program areas to Common Processes.
- Responsible for DW standards and processes including their adherence to SOM policies and procedures.
- Responsible for conducting elevated access and user audits.
- Responsible for mitigating any audit findings; providing input to SSPs.
- Responsible for Data Warehouse Continuity Planning and testing.
- Responsible for providing support for escalated Data Warehouse issue troubleshooting and resolution.
- Experience supporting one or more State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Data Warehouses
- Teradata experience.
- SQL experience.
- shell scripting experience.
- Linux experience.
- Supporting the loading of data from multiple source systems.
- Providing targeted training and technical expertise to development teams to enable them to better troubleshoot and support their batches.
- Proven track record of working independently within a collaborative team.
- Must be able to make decisions on the correct path forward in various situations while staying consistent with State of Michigan and MDHHS / DTMB policies.
