We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Controller to manage all operations in the areas of general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collection, financial reporting, loss prevention, audit, and tax.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Supervise and mentor a team, fostering a strong internal control environment.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and oversee working capital management.
- Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management.
- Manage and improve M1 ERP, optimizing reporting, workflows, and financial processes.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
- Coordinate audits and tax compliance with external auditors.
- Develop and monitor the implementation of long-range financial plans with senior leadership.
- Analyze data, trends, and financial reports to make strategic recommendations.
- Assess financial risks and opportunities for short- and long-term impact.
- Enhance and monitor finance-related controls, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on employee benefit plans and compensation.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of internal financial-management policies and procedures.
- Monitor the organization’s cash flow, reserves, and capital expenditures And nvestment decisions.
- Serve as the primary contact for banks, investment managers and insurance brokers.
- As a member of the Senior Leadership team, engage in special projects that drive the company's strategic direction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited university (CPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred).
- 5 years of experience as a Controller or CFO
- 5 years of experience managing an accounting team
- Experience with M1 ERP is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with financial modeling.
- Ability and desire to manage and participate in a wide range of tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to manage and supervise employees effectively.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Light Manufacturing background is a plus.

Salary Range: $95,000-$110,000 year, with opportunity for annual bonus
