We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and logic controllers to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Fabricate components as needed to support maintenance activities.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, welding techniques, and fabrication processes is preferred.
- Experience with supervising teams or leading projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with the use of CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
