Key Responsibilities:
- Assist drivers during the onboarding process, to include transporting drivers from our office to the truck yard.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the fleet vehicles.
- Support the maintenance team with vehicle inspections and minor repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine checks on vehicles and report any issues.
- Assist in the documentation of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role or the trucking industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus, but not required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Having a valid CDL is a huge plus!
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
