Job Description

The system administrator will manage the desktop environments and procurement for 3D Artists and Design Technologists.

The responsibilities include :

  • Hardware procurement for artist and design technologist desktops
  • Windows system administration with Active Directory, including installing security updates, software upgrades, and firewall configuration for EC2 instances.
  • Software license procurement
  • License server administration
  • Help desk
  • Experience with on-call rotation
  • Partner with 3rd party Imaging team (MIT) to ship and image equipment

The ideal candidate for System Administrator will also have experience in the following :

  • PerforceHelix Core with P4 command line client
  • Multi server setup with standby and edge servers
  • Maya
  • Blender
  • fTrack
  • Python
  • TypeScript
  • Windows server architecture
  • AWS, includingEC2, including granular security groups and AMIs
  • AWS Systems Manager
  • VPC networking, including NACLs and Subnetting
  • Managed Active Directory
  • Thinkbox Deadline
  • Appstream
  • Cloud Development Kit
