RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CNC PROGRAMMER:
· Work closely with the Manufacturing Project Engineer to run new asset preparation and validation processes.
· Assist in pre-production and transition into full production for new machines.
· Program CNC machines and validate that they meet quality and performance standards.
· Troubleshoot and support production issues on the shop floor, ensuring minimal downtime and high efficiency.
· Identify root causes of any issues with new machinery and suggest improvements to optimize operations.
· Collaborate daily with project engineers, quality teams, suppliers, logistics, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
· Engage in cross-functional teamwork to drive the successful launch of new products, ensuring all specifications and timelines are met.
· Provide hands-on CNC programming for the new machines, working in both office and shop floor environments.
· Conduct technical analysis to support data-driven decision-making, including project management and data analysis.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR CNC PROGRAMMER:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
· Candidates without a degree but with significant hands-on CNC programming experience (5-10 years) will also be considered.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming, preferably in a machining or assembly environment.
· Experience in working with heavy-duty components in a foundry or machining space is highly preferred.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR CNC PROGRAMMER:
· Hands-on experience with CNC programming and troubleshooting.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite for reporting, analysis, and collaboration.
· Experience in project management, data analysis, and root cause analysis is desirable
· Familiarity with heavy-duty product machining and fabrication processes is desirable.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, engineers, logistics, and quality assurance.
· A positive growth mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
· Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
