Insurance Licensing and Compliance Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in insurance regulatory compliance and licensing, with experience interacting with state regulators. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing life settlement and life insurance license applications, regulatory filings, and compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, file, and maintain insurance department filings, including license applications and form approvals for multiple regulated entities.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports, including annual and quarterly filings.
- Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries.
- Maintain and track licensing databases.
- Collaborate with colleagues and provide guidance on regulatory and legal matters.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in insurance regulatory compliance, licensing, and form filings.
- Experience with SERFF or other regulatory compliance filing systems, filing new product forms for approval
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high-quality work product.
- Experience interacting with state insurance regulators.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience with privacy and data protection laws is a plus but not required.
