What you'll do...
- Lead the engineering, maintenance, and tooling teams to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of site infrastructure and production equipment.
- Regularly assess and enhance machinery and process efficiency by applying data-driven strategies and predictive maintenance methods to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
- Foster a culture of Lean Continuous Improvement, promoting best practices, safety, compliance, and a zero-defect mindset.
- Integrate advanced technologies such as IIOT and Smart Factory solutions for enhanced operational effectiveness.
- Oversee the development and motivation of the engineering team, ensuring ongoing training and skill enhancement.
- Manage engineering budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial resources are effectively allocated for continuous improvement.
What we're looking for...
- 10 years of engineering and technical expertise in 24/7 manufacturing environments.
- Extensive experience in plastics manufacturing, with particular emphasis in Injection Molding
- Strong communication skills for liaising with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and team members
- 3 years experience in supervisory or managerial capacity with direct oversight of technical teams
- Demonstrated experience with predictive maintenance and smart technology implementations.
- Background in budget management, leading cost-effective capital projects, and optimizing return on investment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
