What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injection Molding Operator position at STEM Search Group?
What you'll do...
- Operate and maintain injection molding machines, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Perform startup and shutdown procedures, respond to machine alarms, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Conduct quality checks and document results, including packaging and tagging of finished products.
- Execute preventative maintenance on molds and equipment, including daily and weekly sanitization.
- Manage changeovers for different products and document all relevant production paperwork and process adjustments.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and report non-conformances, ensuring compliance with safety and GMP standards.
What we're looking for...
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment effectively.
- Prior experience operating injection molding equipment
- Basic math and computer skills, with good written and verbal communication abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to new tasks and changing production demands.
- Capability to lift 35 pounds unassisted and perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED required
