What you'll do...
- Inventory Management : Identify opportunities to enhance inventory accuracy, actively develop and implement action plans to resolve inventory discrepancies and address system constraints.
- Process Standardization : Create and maintain effective work instructions to support accurate inventory reporting, standardize processes to ensure consistency and compliance with GMPs.
- Auditing: Conduct cycle counts and audits, ensuring adherence to FIFO practices.
- Reporting : Track and measure KPIs, reporting on metrics such as inventory accuracy, turnover, days on-hand, aging, etc.
- Training & Development: instruct and train team members on correct work processes related to inventory management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Materials Manager and cross-functional teams to lead supply chain improvement initiatives, and provide backup production planning support.
What we're looking for...
- Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing inventory control, data management, document control, cycle counting, and record keeping.
- Skills: strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in math and statistical analysis. Excellent time management and attention-to-detail.
- Technical Proficiency: experience with MRPs, proficiency in MS Office Suite, experience operating a forklift.
- Mindset: A continuous improvement mindset, eager to learn, motivated to identify opportunities and create process improvements.
- Education : degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management or related field is preferred.
