What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor (Night Shift) position at STEM Search Group?
What you'll do:
- Supervise and guide production employees on the floor to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and adherence to SOPs.
- Manage the startup and shutdown processes of production lines, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular quality inspections, validating product quality and identifying nonconforming material.
- Mentor, motivate, and train production team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and goal achievement
- Prepare and conduct performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and setting clear objectives for team members.
- Facilitate effective communication between shifts to maintain operational continuity and address production-related issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain compliance with industry standards such as ISO and IATF through regular audits and risk assessments.
What we're looking for:
- 2 years of proven supervisory & leadership experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, demonstrating the ability to drive team performance and engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for effective communication and reporting.
- Strong analytical abilities to define problems, collect data, and develop corrective actionable solutions.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly to diverse audiences
- Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
- High school diploma required.
