Irrigator Quincy Area

Number of openings: 20 Full-Time, Temporary

Location: Quincy – Agricultural Services

Working Shift: Day Shift

Hours & Work Days: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday; May vary depending on harvest.

• Operating an ATV to complete job tasks in accordance with company standards
• Turn on irrigation according to the Foreman, Farm Manager, or Regional Manager’s instructions

• Observe fruit temperatures and turn on overhead cooling when needed
• Inspect/repair pipes, sprinklers, mainlines, and other equipment related to irrigation
• Site prepare for the new orchard blocks
• Apply fertigation when needed
• Place/remove bins within harvest blocks

• Observe safety and security procedures as well as attend a variety of safety meetings
• Report potentially unsafe conditions and use equipment/materials as instructed
• Complete other job tasks when needed, this includes: pruning, thinning, pulling weeds, trellis work, tree training, general clean up, and planting
