Location: west des moines, ia MUST be onsite within 40 miles and 60 minutes of drive
Duration: 1 year
The Quality Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Data & Integration systems by developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with cross functional team to improve process. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in quality assurance practice, excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high quality solution. Candidate should have strong knowledge and capability to ensure various data quality checks in Data & Integration platforms by using SQL, SOQL and or other database query languages. Familiarity with data integration process and tool is required.
Required Skills (Critical to Success)
Salesforce Experience (2-3 years' experience) 3-5 years of QA experiance
Creating custom queries using SOQL and integrating data with external systems; understanding Salesforce objects, data structure, and data management best practices.
Data & Integration Platforms (3-4 years' experience)
Internal operational data stores; strong knowledge of database architecture, including relational/non-relational concepts (SQL Server, MongoDB, Snowflake, etc.
Defect Identification & Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Identify and document bugs or inconsistencies accurately, conducting root cause analysis to understand issues and prevent recurrence.
Desired Skills
Reporting and Analytics: Implement and support reporting and analytics infrastructure for internal business customers using data integration services (e.g., Kafka, MuleSoft, Salesforce). Guide internal customers in developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex SQL solutions.
Test Planning and Test Execution: Design comprehensive test plans covering a multitude of scenarios and execute tests systematically, documenting results accurately.
Data Analysis & Validation: Validate data quality and consistency across different Data Integration platforms using SQL, SOQL. Ensure data integrity in Salesforce and correct integration with other platforms.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, improve efficiency, and implement new strategies or tools to bolster quality assurance efforts.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure quality standards.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving integration challenges.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
Industry Experience: Experience with life and annuity business applications is desired.
Project Management: Capability to lead small/medium projects and support complex initiatives within a team.
Impact Analysis: Analyze and review potential adjustments or modifications for impacts on other programs.
