Responsibilities include:
- Support the development and maintenance of governance processes and documentation in alignment with Navy Federal’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework
- Participate in the development of the enterprise risk training strategy and support development of enterprise-wide training to drive awareness and a culture of effective risk management
- Develop program enhancements to identify critical areas to monitor and escalate issues and findings to appropriate stakeholders and governance committees
- Develop enterprise risk management (ERM) methodologies and framework to drive consistency in analyzing, reporting, and governing enterprise risks
- Act as a thought leader working across the enterprise to develop and implement enterprise risk management practices, components, and framework.
- Use analytical skills to conduct risk process improvement, design & drive process excellence and optimization efforts to mature the program
- ¬ Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise or operational risk management
- ¬ Experience with policy, procedure, and process development
- ¬ Experience leading risk and/or compliance related activities in financial services or other relevant industry
- ¬ Effective skill in building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with stakeholders and leaders
- ¬ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs
- ¬ Risk Management Certifications are a plus
