This multifaceted role of an IT Business Partner - SME for Supply Chain & Manufacturing Engineering Systems (MES) is primarily focused on leveraging ERP and other IT solutions to streamline and optimize Supply Chain processes, generate accurate reports, and ensure compliance with regulations.
A strategic mindset to align IT solutions with functional goals and objectives of Supply Chain operations is required.
- BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and concepts. Proficiency in ERP supply chain modules (Planning, Procurement, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, Sales and Shipping, etc.) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- 8 years of experience working with ERP Supply chain modules is preferred.
- Strong experience leading Supply Chain projects and MES implementations
- Deep understanding of popular MES platforms (Eg Critical Mfg, Rockwell, Tulip etc), knowledge of automation technologies and how they integrate with MES systems, understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, and how MES systems are applied to improve them.
- Knowledge of Medical device industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize Supply Chain processes
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change effectively
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and practices
