Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and mentoring individuals, particularly those with autism and developmental disabilities. This position requires a strong commitment to workforce development and the ability to create training programs that empower participants to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Mentor participants through personalized coaching sessions, providing guidance and support in their career paths.
- Educate individuals on employment labor laws and best practices for navigating the job market.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the recruiting process for potential job placements.
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to create comprehensive support plans for participants.
- Facilitate workshops focused on skill development, including soft skills essential for workplace success.
- Monitor progress of participants, providing feedback and adjusting coaching strategies as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in training development and workforce development, particularly in settings involving individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of employment labor law as it pertains to hiring practices and workplace rights.
- Excellent mentoring skills with the ability to inspire confidence in others.
- Experience in interviewing techniques and recruiting processes is preferred.
- Background in social work or related fields is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate participants.
- A genuine passion for helping others succeed in their personal and professional lives.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
