What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Reception position at Stephen B. Marvin Real Estate, Inc.?
This is a property management company. The front office duties include: reception, answering phones, filing, copying, scheduling appointments, and answering customer questions. The customer service duties will include: rent collection, accounts payable, order and track property repairs, and communication between customers and vendors. You should be detail-oriented , able to work well under pressure, multi task, and solve customer service situations. Computer skills are required, and property management knowledge is preferred. Ultimately, you are responsible for ensuring that our company’s day-to-day operations run with excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Handle high volumes of incoming messages, calls and requests accurately and promptly.
- Greet customers with a smile, provide customers with assistance and answer questions about the services offered at the business.
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Answer phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Gather, sort and distribute daily mail/delivers.
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Collect rent payments and pay invoices for property owners.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, data entry, receipts and problem solving.
- Computer skills are required.
- Property Management experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
