Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Front Desk Receptionist Administrator to join our clinic team For 2.5 days per week. Monday and Thursday ,Friday 1/2 day. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. This Front Desk position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with dental practices, insurance claims, payments and verification. Accounts receivable. Aging insurance reports, etc.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing an exceptional first impression of the clinic.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date in the electronic health record system (experience with Athenahealth preferred).
- Process patient registration forms and verify insurance information. Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any administrative issues that may arise.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff regarding their care.
- Support dental billing processes by providing necessary documentation and coding.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a clinic dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient population.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and coding practices is preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic dental record systems
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in dental office management is an advantage.
