Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Front Desk Receptionist/administrater to join our clinic team For 2.5 days per week. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with dental practices.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing an exceptional first impression of the clinic.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date in the electronic health record system (experience with Athenahealth preferred).
- Process patient registration forms and verify insurance information, including Medicare coverage.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any administrative issues that may arise.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff regarding their care.
- Support medical billing processes by providing necessary documentation and coding assistance when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a clinic or medical office setting is highly desirable.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient population.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices is preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems; experience with Athenahealth is a plus.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
