DEBT CAPITAL MARKETS
Our Debt Capital Markets bankers work with clients to determine the best approach to optimize their capital structure and achieve their goals. Our structuring and advisory expertise encompasses a broad range of products including (but not limited to): SPV/corporate revolving warehouse and term facilities, asset portfolio sales, forward flow programs, rated asset-backed securities, private placements, subordinated debt, preferred /structured equity,. Through our competitive processes, we leverage our proprietary relationships across the debt capital markets to identify potential financing solutions and drive toward the best terms available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Associates leverage their knowledge and experience to work with and mentor analysts, and continually develop their expertise within structuring, negotiating and executing to deliver top quality work product to the team and clients. As an Associate you have a broad array of responsibilities executing transactions and working with your team to build the business. These tasks include:
- Perform collateral analytics from loan tapes, analyze historical CNL performance, and derive base case loss assumptions using historical data for consumer, equipment, small business, and esoteric asset classes.
- Use stratifications and other reporting tools to effectively convey pool characteristics, concentrations, distributions, and risks. Proactively determine missing, incomplete, and inaccurate information
- Design, develop and use complex cash flow models for ABS transactions, including structure proposals, rating agency stress scenarios, offering memoranda disclosures, investor runs and other bond analytics and calculations
- Collaborate with clients, rating agencies, attorneys, accountants, and others on all matters related to collateral characteristics, bond structuring and analysis
- Creating Confidential Information Memorandums, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations
- Helping plan and execute live engagements
- Training and developing analysts
- Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clients
- Performing other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience focused on asset finance / securitization / private placement / rating process execution
- Significant experience performing asset based financing in the consumer, equipment, small business, and esoteric asset classes
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills
- High energy with strong interpersonal, accounting and finance skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong commitment to respecting and safeguarding confidential information

- Adherence to regulatory requirements
