Summary
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your core skills in accounting, general ledger reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping will be essential. You will also handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts and other information.
· Reconcile various general ledger accounts to internally and externally prepared schedules.
· Process payroll and data entry.
· Oversee all day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities.
· Submit financial reports.
· Oversee the general ledger.
· File bank reconciliations.
· Perform basic accounting functions.
· Reconciliation of monthly reports
· Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
· Assist in the preparation of Workers Comp and GL audit spreadsheets.
· Maintain weekly and quarterly transactions and recordkeeping of payroll tax liabilities.
· Oversee all payroll tax deadlines and filings.
· Monitor generation and entry of benefit payments as required.
· Manage 401K accounts.
· Ability to handle a high volume of assignments.
· Able to comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
· Maintains a complete set of General Ledger for all the financial transactions of the organization.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Other duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor and management.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Knowledge of generally accepted bookkeeping practices and principles.
· Knowledge of economic principles.
· Knowledge of auditing practices and principles.
· Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
· Basic knowledge of accounting software.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping.

$19 - $27
