Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Dig holes for planting and maintain existing garden beds by weeding and mulching.
• Carry out tree care activities including tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping tasks.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• A valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory.
