Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging dance lessons for various age groups and skill levels.
- Develop choreography for performances and competitions, ensuring quality and originality.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their skills and boost their confidence.
- Maintain a safe and encouraging environment for all participants during classes and events.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, performance schedules, and class expectations.
- Collaborate with other instructors to create a diverse curriculum that promotes creativity and technical skills.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance teaching methods and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Proven experience as a dance instructor or in a relevant role with a strong background in multiple dance styles.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills to manage class schedules, student progress, and performance preparation.
- A degree or certification in dance, performing arts, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate class schedules.
- First-aid and CPR certification will be considered an asset.
