What are the responsibilities and job description for the Call Taker- 1st Shift position at Stepp's Towing?
Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is looking for a Call Taker which is a front-line position. This position requires effective and timely communication directly with incoming phone calls, accurately processing and entering call information into the dispatch software system, while also delivering a high level of customer service to all phone inquiries. This is a full-time, hourly position with one of the most successful privately held towing and heavy transport companies in the country. Pay is commensurate with prior experience.

Essential Functions:
- Receive and promptly answer emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Gather all required and pertinent information: Name and phone number, disablement location and drop address, vehicle info, cause of breakdown, etc.
- Perform duties of the Dispatcher Assistant in their absence as directed.

Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday (6:30am to 3:00PM) & Sunday/Monday: OFF
