Infant Teacher - Child Care Center

Stepping Stone Children’s Center is in need of an INFANT TEACHER. Our ideal candidate LOVES children's and will:

*Monitor, direct, protect, encourage, and nurture children.
*Maintain a safe, fun healthy environment for children.
*Maintain communication with parents.
*Maintain an information log, attendance records and current emergency information for each child.
*Consistently demonstrate professional, courteous, cooperative, and helpful behavior to all contacts: children, parents, colleagues and other business prospects or associates.
*Ability to follow Creative Curriculum and target all development domains.
*Prepares and implements classroom lesson plans, programs, and schedules.
*Develops, plans, and prepares instructional aids / materials for classroom activities.
*Ensures that all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly.
*Communicates appropriate information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children.
*Schedules and conducts parent and teacher conferences throughout the year and maintains family information board and other classroom bulletin boards.
*Ensures that classroom medication schedule is followed.
*Perform all other tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED:

*90-hour certificate (45 hours of child development and 45 hours of infant curriculum development)
*9 hour communications training.
*Current CPR and 1st Aid Certificate.
*Must be 19 years old and able to pass a criminal background check.

EXPERIENCE;

2 years of early childhood education experience desirable
1 years of experience working with infant age group preferred

OTHER:

Uniforms provided. 11 paid holidays and 2 paid training days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
