What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpentry Foreman position at Stepping Stone Homes?
Job Summary:
We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and can lead and manage a framing crew. Candidates should be able to follow detailed instructions and complete their tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Looking for experienced carpenters and prefer to have foreman or crew leader experience.

Core Accountabilities/Essential Duties/Responsibilities: This list is not all inclusive
· Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
· Layout and lead the construction of building each home from the floor joists to the roof trusses, through punch out.
· Lead a crew of 3-5 framing technicians in the framing construction of single family and duplex homes.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Knowledge of using power tools, nail guns, levels, and other hand tools.
· Comfortable working on ladders and heights.
· Comfortable working in all types of weather conditions.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to read blueprints and drawings to determine the specific requirements of the project.
· Knowledge of the Wisconsin UDC for residential construction
· Previous leadership of framing crews preferred
· Experience operating all-terrain fork lifts.
· Understanding of OSHA compliance in construction. OSHA 10 hour certification preferred.
· Valid Driver’s license with reliable transportation. Jobsite location changes for every project.
Work Environment:
· This is a fast paced, outdoor environment. Site conditions can change quickly with weather.
Year-round work.
