Child Care Provider Education: HS/GED equivalent Shift: Monday-Friday Morning and afternoon shifts available. We offer flexible scheduling to accomodate school schedules.
Age: 18 years or older
- Duties and responsibilities: A teacher is responsible for creating and implementing a program of activities that promotes the social, emotional and physical development of children.
- Participate in staff meetings, center activities and staff development Review the progress of each child and develop written plans to promote child’s growth and development; conduct parent/teacher conferences.
- Maintain a well-organized, safe and attractive classroom environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children.
- Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote their development Plan and implement the daily program of activities based on principles of child development and in accordance with the program’s curriculum.
- Establish a positive relationship with each child’s family and share information about the child’s day and activities.
- Responsible for assisting the center Director in implementing parent involvement activities.
- Maintain confidentiality Instruct children in health/personal habits such as resting, eating and toilet habits.
- Maintain daily observations about activities, meals served and medication administration.
- Sanitize toys and play equipment, sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
- Assist children with personal care.
- Meet all applicable licensing regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
