Stepping Stones Preschool has been in business for 8 years. We serve infants to the age of 5. We have a laid back work environment with a family friendly atmosphere.
Job description
Come work with us! Our teachers work with diverse population of children, families and staff to promote a safe, healthy environment where children can overcome obstacles, learn and grow. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about early childhood education, excellent communication skills and love to have fun at work. No weekends or nights.
- Must be able to get CPR certified. (We will get you CPR certified)
- Pass background checks
- Get TB test and Physical
- Must be able to take 12 clock hours per year of early childhood classes
- Understand various developmental stages of young children.
- Be able to manage different learning styles in the classroom.
- Be able to deal with difficult situations that may come up while working with children.
- Love arts and crafts, music, and physical activity.
- Have excellent communication skills with children and parents.
- Be on time daily and present each day.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00-$14.75 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift (with a 1 hour break)
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Jefferson City, MO 65109: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
