Intake Coordinator Job description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and committed early childhood educator to coordinate all aspects of Intake and Screening process of children. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal / communication skills, effective time management and organization skills, demonstrate a strong understanding of child development as it applies to preschool students with special needs and one who thrives on a collaborative setting.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Program Director and Educational Director to coordinate all aspects of the intake process for new students either transitioning from early intervention or through the initial evaluation process.
NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities (birth to 2nd grade) Required and General Education (birth to 2nd grade) preferred
Familiar with NYDOE CPSE Process
Five or more years of teaching experience
Familiar with the NYCDOE ATLAS Database
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience working in Pre School setting preferred
Bilingual Spanish a plus
Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – 92,000.00 per year
