Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Director, HR and Recruiting to oversee a team of employees completing the full-cycle recruitment process, onboarding, and HR operations, including payroll management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Recruiting and HR processes and a passion for supporting talent acquisition while ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to support a dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and optimize cross-functional workflows.
- Conduct hiring for administrative roles and clinical BCBA recruitment to meet company needs.
- Oversee and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding process including equipment and account setup and new hire documentation requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring the company adheres to labor laws and company policies.
- Provide support to employees regarding HR-related questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Manage employee performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and development plans.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to fostering a positive company culture.
- Manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. Support employees with payroll-related escalations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, benefits administration, and wage laws.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on employment laws, trends, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Maintain HR and recruiting metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and HR workflows.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on recruitment progress, employee turnover, and HR performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years HR and Recruiting experience and experience managing a team of direct reports.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to meet department goals and objectives.
- Certification: SHRM certification preferred. Knowledge of HR requirements and processes is necessary.
- Technical Skills: Prior experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System and HR software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze KPIs and data to inform department workflows.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with administrative and clinical staff.
- Motivation: Takes the initiative to implement changes to improve team workflows and problem-solve bottlenecks independently.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in KPI data and the various HR systems.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including administrative and clinical staff and other department heads.
