CNC Laser Operator
Overview
STER Seating LLC is hiring a CNC Laser Operator/Machinist for our EXTON, PA location. This role focuses on operating and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines to fabricate metal components for our seating solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut and shape metal components to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and material specifications.
- Set up laser machines, including programming and adjusting settings for optimal cutting performance.
- Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of laser equipment.
- Monitor material usage and ensure proper handling of raw materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Certification or degree in CNC machining or laser technology is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.
- Familiarity with laser programming and CAD software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
