Come join our team as a Marketing Technical Writing Intern. You will be an active member of STERIS Life Sciences supporting the Technical Services Team, that produces and maintains more than 800 pieces of literature and publications. New literature pieces are added to the collection each year as products are created, and new needs are identified. Additionally, new publications and conference materials are created as needed. It is imperative that we maintain literature, improve our processes, and create helpful and usable resources.

Key Internship Info
- Dates: Summer 2025 (May-August)
- Location: St. Louis, MO
- Work Environment: Hybrid
- Create / revise literature and/or publications and route for formal approval using various tools and meeting needed deadlines.
- Create work instructions as needed using various tools and team feedback.
- Create a more automated workflow for formal approval in Adobe Sign from collaboration with IT, and regular communication with and support from manager.
- Consolidate Life Sciences SharePoint resources from collaboration with Marketing Communications, and regular communication with and support from manager.
The Skills, Abilities, and Experience Needed:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program - junior year requirements completed by program start (May 2025)
- Area of Study: Technical/Professional writing, process design/improvement
- English, Technical Communication, Marketing, etc. OR
- Biology, Chemistry, or similar discipline with English / Tech Comm minor, Writing Center employment, or some other meaningful literature experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the Adobe Suite (Pro, InDesign, etc.)
- Ability to be collaborative and work both independently and as a member of a team
- Solid organizational skills
- Eager to learn and ask questions
